The Story

Midnights with You is about the desire to make a moment last longer than it can.

It began with a simple feeling: being beside someone you love late at night, knowing you should sleep, but not wanting to surrender a single minute. One thought keeps returning:

I don’t want to close my eyes. I am scared I will miss too much of you.

That feeling became the foundation of the work.

The piece begins with a wooden panel covered in diamond dust, creating a surface that constantly responds to its surroundings. Layer upon layer of colour is then built over it, giving the image a physical depth that reveals itself differently depending on where you stand.

From a distance, the composition appears almost architectural a maze of words, lines and forms. Move closer and another world begins to emerge. Figures, putti, a rabbit, grapes, butterflies and plants are hidden throughout the work like fragments of memories discovered in the darkness.

And beneath everything is the diamond dust. It catches the smallest changes in light, causing the artwork to shift throughout the day. Nothing about the surface feels completely still.

Midnights with You is ultimately about time and our impossible desire to stop it when life gives us a moment we never want to lose.

Created in three colorways and two sizes, each artwork is individually signed and numbered in an edition of only 50 pieces for the medium size, and 10 pieces for the larger size.

    A tamper-proof holographic mark with a unique number is applied to every artwork on the reverse. It is tied to your edition number and recorded in our database.

Time line

1. THE OPENING

Sunday 6 September 2026.

Private access at 17:00 CEST, for those who have requested it.

The edition opens at 18:00 CEST.

2. THE RELEASE

For fourteen days the edition is offered at the release price.

3. THEREAFTER

When the fourteen days close, remaining works return to the studio at the regular price.

4. THE STUDIO

After the opening closes, we begin the artworks, in the order they were purchased. Each is signed and numbered by the artist. This is a pre-order and made-to-order. Read what that means in the FAQ.

5. ARRIVAL

We endeavour to have every artwork ready within six months of the close of the opening. This is an estimate. Production follows the order of purchase, so a later order, or a larger edition, may take longer.

When the artwork is finished, we will write to you. Then we arrange together whether you collect it at the studio or have it sent.

What is a Fine art print

A limited-edition piece made to last. Only a set number exist. Once they are gone, no more are made.

It begins as a wooden board covered in black diamond dust — a fine glitter that catches the light and gives the surface its dark sparkle. The image is then printed in a single colour, built up in layers so the surface has a raised, tactile relief.

Each print is archival and made as an original object, not a poster.

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order allows you to secure your piece before it’s made. When you place a pre-order, you’re not just reserving your item—you’re directly helping us take it into production. Each pre-order means we’re crafting the piece specifically for you, as it’s made to order.

Because of this commitment, your pre-order is non-refundable. By placing an order, you’re agreeing to receive the finished piece once production is complete. This personalized approach ensures that every item is created with intention and care, just for you.

What is the delivery time?

Since this piece is made to order, the exact delivery date is not yet set. We’re thrilled to share that production has already begun for one of several batches, and we currently estimate delivery to take place at the end of 2026, however it might be later.

Please note that this timeline is an estimate, and while we aim to complete production as swiftly as possible, our commitment to exceptional quality means the process may take a little longer than anticipated. Rest assured, we’re working diligently to bring your piece to life.

What is an Artist Proof

An artist’s proof (often abbreviated as AP) is a special subset of an art edition traditionally created for the artist’s personal use, reference, or approval. In printmaking, for instance, artist proofs were originally used to ensure the quality of the prints before the main edition was produced. Over time, they became collectible in their own right, partly due to their association with the artist and their limited availability.

In general:
• Artist proofs are identical to the main edition in terms of content and quality.
• They are typically numbered separately from the main edition (e.g., AP 1/10, AP 2/10).
• They are often produced in smaller quantities, usually making up 10–15% (or less) of the total edition.
• Because of their exclusivity and the tradition behind them, artist proofs are often considered more desirable and sought after by collectors.

In some cases, artist proofs might have slight variations or differences (like unique markings), but more often than not, they are identical to the regular edition except for their distinct numbering and status. This tradition applies across various art forms, including prints, sculptures, and even photography.
